If you play the electric guitar you will notice that sometimes your G string is giving you good sound which is sharp. But on the other hand, with E chord you are not getting the tune that you wanted from the guitar. To avoid such a problem, you can follow some steps.

At first, you need to fix the G string wound. As the wound is one of the contributing problems, you can’t just replace it. You need to fix it patiently. To fix it on your electric guitar, you have to tune-up. Then you will understand where the problem is. If the string is sharp, if you have to down the tune for flat tone. Then you can understand where the problem is.

If you find the chromatic tuners it will lead you to an unstable tuning with open strings. With lots of harmonics, you will find a nice tune easily. If you don’t get the proper tone, touch the string and lower the fret into 12th fret. When you will pluck the string, it will give you the perfect sound. But you have to remove the finger and place it correctly to get a bell sound.

Those electric guitars are less expensive, it will lead you to the lowering nut. This lowering nut can be fixed by adjusting the slots. You have to go too deep slots. Again, you can’t go to deeper slots, as it will create buzzing on the tune. So, you have to be careful while playing or adjusting the tunes.
